Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of convly, a service enabling interoperability between Slack and Microsoft Teams (“Service”), provided by convly, a French company with business registration number 992.715.219 (“convly”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you (“you”, “Customer”, or “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1 Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to bind your organization to these Terms.
  • By registering, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of your company, team, or organization.

2 Service Description

  • convly enables real-time synchronization of messages, files, and collaboration items between Slack and Microsoft Teams.
  • convly does not store the content of any messages. Only necessary metadata (e.g., timestamps, sender/recipients IDs, channel references, and delivery logs) can be stored to enable interoperability.
  • convly service does not include artificial intelligence features, automated decision-making, or content manipulation.
  • The Service is accessible through a Slack app that can be installed from conv.ly.
  • convly is currently in BETA and can be used for free. This is temporary and will evolve in 2026 with paid plans.
During BETA, features may change, and availability may be limited.

3 Account Registration & Use

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
  • You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting unauthorized access, interfering with operation, or using the Service for illegal purposes.

4 Pricing, Termination

  • Some features of convly may, in the future, be offered under paid subscription plans. Pricing and billing terms will be communicated at the time of subscription.
  • Either party may terminate the Service at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or fail to pay fees due.

5 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for spam, abuse, illegal activity, or distribution of harmful content.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Service.
  • Circumvent usage limits or technical restrictions.
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service.

6 Intellectual Property

  • convly and its underlying technology are owned by convly and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
  • convly brand is registered under Trade mark number 019122605 at EUIPO.
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes.
  • You retain all rights to your own content transmitted through Slack or Microsoft Teams. convly does not claim ownership of your communications.

7 Data & Privacy

  • convly does not store the content of any messages. Only necessary metadata (e.g., timestamps, sender/recipients IDs, channel references, and delivery logs) can be stored to enable interoperability.
  • We act as a data processor under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); you remain the data controller.
  • Data is processed exclusively within the European Union, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8 Security

  • We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of processed metadata.
  • You remain responsible for configuring and securing your own Slack and Microsoft Teams environments.

9 Disclaimers

  • The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted.
  • You acknowledge that interoperability depends partly on Slack and Microsoft Teams APIs, which are outside of our control.

10 Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, convly is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Our total liability for any claim under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid to convly for the Service in the 6 months preceding the claim.

11 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with French law.
  • Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

12 Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time.
  • If changes are material, we will notify you by email or through the Service.
  • Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
